Associate Director, HR Business Partner – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a strategic Associate Director – HR Business Partner to lead the people agenda for our manufacturing sites in Verviers, Strasbourg, Illkirch‑Graffenstaden and other regional locations. Reporting to senior site leadership, you will act as a trusted advisor, shaping HR strategy, ensuring legal compliance and driving organisational success.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to translate business objectives into HR strategies, including organisational design, workforce planning and leadership development.
• Lead complex employee‑relations cases, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant processes under Belgian and French employment law.
• Drive talent‑management processes such as performance reviews, talent calibration, succession planning and high‑potential development.
• Ensure full compliance with local labour regulations and proactively advise on risk mitigation.
• Lead organisational change initiatives, including restructuring and transformation, with effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with Global Total Rewards to implement compensation and benefits programmes, providing local market insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of Belgian and French employment legislation.
• Strong advisory skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Excellent communication and change‑management capabilities.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
