Assistant Boutique Manager – Retail Leadership

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Boutique Manager for our Liège boutique. In this role you will support the Boutique Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales performance and upholding Nespresso’s brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Boutique Manager to create memorable customer experiences and act as a brand ambassador.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and support the Coffee Bard in masterclasses and events.
• Assist in evaluating store performance, achieving sales targets and optimizing the boutique’s P&L.
• Identify profitability opportunities, develop action plans and coach the team on selling skills.
• Manage scheduling, workforce planning and ensure compliance with local labour regulations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and high‑quality product presentation.
• Work with HR to advise on personnel practices and promote a safety‑first culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of retail experience with a strong focus on customer service.
• Proven ability to manage customer complaints.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in team development.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts.
• Stress‑resilient, motivated and able to develop direct reports.
