Area Manager – Retail (Benelux)

About the role

waterdrop® is looking for a dynamic Retail Area Manager to lead its store network across the Benelux region. Based in Belgium, you will act as the brand ambassador, driving commercial performance, ensuring brand consistency, and fostering a high‑energy retail culture.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets, manage budgets and control costs across all Benelux stores.
• Monitor, analyse and report KPIs, implementing action plans to optimise performance.
• Lead, coach and develop Store Managers and their teams, building a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising, store presentation and operational standards.
• Drive local marketing initiatives, events and business‑development activities to increase footfall and brand awareness.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and communicate effectively across stores and leadership.
• Prepare stores for senior‑leadership visits and maintain compliance with health, safety and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a multi‑store retail environment with a strong focus on customer service and commercial results.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse KPIs, report insights and drive improvements.
• Leadership experience managing and developing Store Managers and retail teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Highly self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable influencing operational and commercial outcomes.
• Flexibility to travel across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English (spoken and written).
