Aircraft Cabin Technician

About the role

Brussels Airlines is seeking a Cabin Repair Aircraft Technician to ensure the interior of its fleet remains safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. You will work on cabin systems and components, supporting aircraft dispatch reliability and passenger comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and rectify cabin defects according to approved documentation.
• Remove, install, and functionally test cabin components such as passenger seats, IFE fittings, PSU units, overhead bins, sidewall/ceiling panels, galleys, and lavatory equipment.
• Perform minor cosmetic repairs using approved materials and standard practices.
• Interpret and apply Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC), Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), and Engineering Orders.
• Record maintenance actions in technical logs and maintenance information systems in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Maintenance Control to resolve cabin discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures, human‑factors standards, and safety management systems.
• Ensure proper handling and control of tools, parts, and consumables.

Required profile

• Higher secondary education with a technical focus.
• Proven experience in aircraft cabin maintenance or a related field.
• Fluent technical English (spoken and written); Dutch or French is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings.
• High sense of aesthetics for cabin interiors, organized, and skilled in craftsmanship.
