AI Cybersecurity Engineer (Offensive Security & Threat Modeling)

About the role

We are seeking an AI Cybersecurity Engineer with a strong offensive mindset to join a leading Egyptian financial institution undergoing a digital transformation. Working exclusively on the bank's secure on‑premises infrastructure, you will act as an internal adversary, proactively identifying and mitigating risks in AI/ML systems before they reach production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead predictive AI threat‑modeling exercises across AI/ML pipelines, data stores, and model training environments.
• Conduct AI‑focused red‑team operations, simulating data‑poisoning, model inversion, membership inference, evasion, and prompt‑injection attacks.
• Implement and operationalize the MITRE ATLAS framework, mapping findings to ATLAS tactics and techniques and aligning with MITRE ATT&CK.
• Assess and harden on‑premises infrastructure, including bare‑metal GPU clusters, Kubernetes/OpenShift container platforms, and private data registries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in offensive security and threat modeling for AI/ML systems.
• Deep understanding of adversarial attacks on machine‑learning models.
• Hands‑on experience securing high‑performance, on‑premises compute environments.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently within a regulated banking context.
