AI Conversation Designer (Dutch or French)

About the role

We are seeking an AI Conversation Designer fluent in Dutch or French to join a client’s digital team. You will shape the way users interact with chatbots, voice assistants, and multimodal AI interfaces, ensuring natural, inclusive, and effective conversations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise conversational flows for chatbots, voice assistants and multimodal interfaces.
• Create and maintain conversation design systems, dialogue patterns and persona frameworks.
• Define tone‑of‑voice and personality guidelines for AI assistants.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to continuously improve conversational experiences.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to enhance natural‑language understanding and agentic capabilities.
• Implement analytics and KPIs to measure conversation success.
• Build conversation maps, user journeys and prototype scenarios for clarity, empathy and efficiency.
• Work with Business and UX Service Designers to embed conversational touchpoints in broader customer journeys.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience designing conversational interfaces, chatbots or AI‑driven experiences.
• Strong writing and UX interaction skills with a focus on tone and emotional context.
• Analytical mindset with experience tracking KPIs and evaluating conversation performance.
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and coach teams.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
