Accounts Executive

About the role

The Accounts Executive will manage day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate records, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This position supports both the accounts payable and receivable functions while contributing to financial reporting and audit preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, record transactions, and perform monthly closing and reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices, prepare payment vouchers, execute payments, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Issue customer invoices, monitor collections, manage debtor records and aging reports.
• Conduct regular bank and inter‑company reconciliations, investigating discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing monthly profit & loss, balance sheet, cash‑flow reports and support budgeting/forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, assist with tax submissions and liaise with auditors.
• Maintain accurate documentation, support accounting system implementation and process improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in full‑set or partial accounts management.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
• High integrity, confidentiality and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL, Xero and QuickBooks accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
