Accounting & Tax Specialist

About the role

Join AXA Partners' dynamic finance team in Brussels as an Accounting & Tax Specialist. You will be at the core of financial operations, ensuring precision, compliance and efficient reporting across a complex, multi‑country environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage insurance tax declarations across EU countries and handle VAT declarations with prorata calculations.
• Oversee INAMI contributions, fiscal fiches and other statutory filings.
• Execute month‑end closing processes, record payroll entries and clean suspense accounts.
• Prepare and review impairments, support CBCR reporting and F01DGS reporting for BNB.
• Maintain internal control standards and assist with additional reporting tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Higher education in accounting, tax or a related field.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in complex accounting and tax environments.
• Familiarity with large ERP systems and intricate financial processes.
• Proactive, initiative‑taking mindset with strong prioritisation skills.
