Accountant

About the role

As an Accountant within the central finance team of WorxInvest, you will ensure accurate processing and reporting of financial data across the group’s entities. You will support monthly and quarterly closing activities while building expertise in a broad range of accounting and reporting topics.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions, and various journal entries.
• Play a key role in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in accordance with BE GAAP (IFRS knowledge a plus).
• Monitor and analyse balance‑sheet positions and movements.
• Prepare periodic reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and audit files.
• Perform reconciliations and balance‑sheet analyses.
• Contribute to optimisation and standardisation of financial processes.
• Support implementation of internal controls and accounting policies.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analyses, project support and respond to business queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong technical accounting skills and ability to work closely with the Finance Manager and Business & Financial Controllers.
