About the role
We are seeking an Accountant to manage end‑to‑end accounting operations for a global leader in performance materials and specialty chemicals. The role involves handling the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Monitor payments and manage monthly close activities.
- Ensure VAT compliance in accordance with Belgian law.
- Prepare key financial statements and management reports.
Required profile
- 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Experience processing invoices for both AP and AR.
- Familiarity with Belgian accounting regulations.
- Professional level of English.
- Interest in working within a scientific/technical environment.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
