Account Manager – ICT Services

About the role

The Account Manager will act as the primary liaison between our ICT services company and institutional clients in the public sector. Based in Brussels, you will ensure seamless delivery of technology solutions while fostering long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships with IT managers, project officers and contract managers.
• Monitor compliance with framework and project contracts, SLAs and KPIs, and oversee delivery of application development, infrastructure, support and consulting services.
• Coordinate allocation of ICT consultants (developers, architects, analysts, project managers) and manage onboarding, security clearances and off‑boarding.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing contracts, prepare pricing proposals and track revenue, profitability and forecasts.
• Participate in steering committees, produce regular reports on service delivery, financial performance and risk, and ensure adherence to EU procurement, GDPR and information‑security policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large public‑sector or institutional accounts (preferred).
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French; Dutch/Flemish is a plus.
• Strong understanding of public procurement frameworks, EU regulations and enterprise IT governance.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and multi‑vendor delivery models.

Required skills

• Experience with enterprise collaboration and document‑management platforms such as ARES.
