Account Executive - EU Public Sector & NATO

About the role

Aikido Security is looking for a high‑performing Account Executive to accelerate revenue growth in the EU public sector and NATO. You will work with national governments, public institutions, defense organisations and NATO agencies to deliver developer‑first security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing for EU national governments, ministries, public agencies and NATO entities.
• Lead responses to public tenders, RFPs and RFIs, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.
• Collaborate with Global System Integrators, regional IT partners and distributors that hold government framework agreements.
• Build and deepen relationships with CISOs, heads of software engineering, platform leads and procurement directors.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and disciplined pipeline management using HubSpot.
• Represent Aikido at key defence, cyber and public‑sector events across Europe.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of SaaS sales experience with a proven record in cybersecurity, DevSecOps or developer tools within the EU public sector, defence or NATO environments.
• Deep understanding of EU government purchasing frameworks, public tender processes and partner‑led sales models.
• Consistent track record of closing complex 6‑ and 7‑figure deals involving multiple stakeholders.
