Young Graduate – Software & Platform Engineering Functional Analyst

About the role

Accenture is seeking a recent graduate to join its Software & Platform Engineering (S&PE) team as a T‑shaped Analyst. The role blends business analysis, project management and testing, offering a fast‑track into consulting and future delivery leadership positions.

Key responsibilities

• Research, gather and synthesize information to support business decisions.
• Create detailed business requirements and translate them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning and analysis phases.
• Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and DevOps to ensure test coverage and early defect detection.
• Track and report project progress, backlog items and bugs using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Coach team members, facilitate sprint ceremonies, remove blockers and report agile metrics.
• Contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives and continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience through internships, theses, student jobs or a first professional role.
• Strong interest in business analysis, project delivery and software testing.
