Senior Financial Services Consultant

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Financial Services Consultant to join its Financial Services team in Brussels. You will work with leading banks, insurers and payment institutions, helping them navigate regulatory change, AI adoption and climate‑related challenges while improving productivity and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory services on risk finance projects and transformation journeys for major financial institutions.
• Assess the impact of new regulations on operating models, including governance, processes, people and technology.
• Support clients in implementing regulatory requirements from start to finish.
• Integrate AI and emerging technologies into client solutions and internal work practices.
• Collaborate with client teams across offices, PwC locations and remote environments.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in financial services consulting, preferably within banking, insurance or payments.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, risk and technology agendas of senior management.
• Proven ability to deliver value‑added, qualitative advice beyond pure compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AI applications in financial services.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and operating model design.
