Senior Drupal Developer – 70‑day freelance contract (remote, EU)

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Freelance Drupal Developer for a 70‑day temporary replacement contract. The role involves full ownership of advanced front‑end and back‑end development, creating complex custom modules, fine‑tuning site configurations and ensuring smooth third‑party integrations, with minimal onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Write, review and implement highly complex custom Drupal modules and hooks.
• Build and maintain high‑performance, responsive Drupal themes using Twig, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Configure and optimise Drupal core, contributed modules, complex Views, taxonomy and content types.
• Diagnose deep technical bugs, perform secure core/module updates and optimise website performance.
• Deliver clean, secure and well‑documented code following Drupal coding best practices.

Required profile

• 13+ years of professional web development experience with a proven track record in Drupal 9/10.
• Ready to start immediately and available for the full 70‑day contract.
• EU citizenship required.
