SAP Finance Solution Architect

About the role

As a SAP Finance Solution Architect you will lead the design and delivery of sustainable finance solutions using the latest SAP technologies. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementations that meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design comprehensive solution architectures, create diagrams and technical documentation to guide implementation teams.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers and business analysts to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP Finance best practices, configuration options and system integrations.
• Coach and support junior consultants, fostering knowledge transfer and skill development.
• Stay current with new SAP Finance features, S/4HANA evolutions and industry trends.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in finance, with at least 10 years on large SAP implementations.
• Proven track record as a SAP FICO Solution Architect, deep knowledge of SAP Finance & Controlling portfolio.
• Strong understanding of internal/external accounting, financial processes and their interaction with other business functions.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work on assignments in Belgium and potentially abroad, with professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• SAP FICO (New GL, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center, Project System).
• S/4HANA Finance.
• Integration knowledge with SAP MM, SD, PP modules.
• ABAP programming for customization and issue resolution.
