Operator / Coach – Production & Safety

About the role

The Operator/Coach works on the production floor, guiding a team to deliver safe, high‑quality output while maximizing efficiency. Reporting to the team leader and receiving functional guidance from the coach, the role combines hands‑on operation of equipment with coaching and safety oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Operate mixers, filling lines and production equipment.
• Supply and remove materials using forklift and reach trucks.
• Perform start‑up, process control and shift‑swap continuity.
• Guide change‑overs, focusing on speed and accuracy.
• Report anomalies, near‑misses and safety incidents to the coach.
• Carry out minor technical maintenance and TPM activities.
• Maintain 5S standards and participate in Lean problem‑solving.
• Conduct safety observations (BBS) and enforce PPE use.
• Support internal training for new employees and assist during emergencies.

Required profile

• Experience as an operator or in a similar production role, preferably in the chemical industry.
• A2 level education or equivalent experience.
• Forklift and reach‑truck certification.
• Good knowledge of chemical processes and product handling.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
