AI Capability Lead Architect

About the role

Accenture is seeking a visionary AI Capability Lead Architect to shape and drive AI adoption across its Software & Platform Engineering (S&PE) capability. In this senior position you will define governance, frameworks and responsible AI practices while working directly with clients on complex transformation programs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and oversee the AI adoption strategy for S&PE, including governance, ways of working and responsible AI.
• Shape the S&PE AI offering by creating assets, accelerators and delivery models for multiple industries.
• Identify, develop and embed the AI skill set needed within the capability through training, recruitment and knowledge sharing.
• Provide AI and architecture expertise on client projects to ensure scalable, compliant and client‑focused solutions.
• Drive strategic relationships across the AI ecosystem to accelerate innovation.
• Act as a thought leader in AI within S&PE, contributing to internal and client‑facing discussions.
• Support sales and opportunity shaping by bringing an AI architecture perspective.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data/AI or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture and consulting.
• Proven expertise in AI strategy, governance and implementation.
• Strong track record of delivering complex, large‑scale client projects.
