Tax Analyst – European Tax Compliance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Analyst to lead European‑level tax compliance for a fast‑growing international organization. You will ensure accurate VAT, Intrastat, EC Sales List and corporate income tax filings while supporting strategic decisions across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, EC Sales Lists and corporate income tax returns in coordination with external advisors.
• Maintain compliance with European and local tax regulations and monitor regulatory changes.
• Identify, assess and manage tax risks, including indirect taxes and customs duties.
• Coordinate tax audits, prepare documentation and oversee VAT matters for domestic, intra‑EU and international transactions.
• Review VAT reconciliations, invoice processing and corporate income tax reporting.
• Manage transfer pricing matters across entities and perform balance‑sheet reviews for tax‑related accounts.
• Ensure proper ERP configuration, drive process improvements and automation.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT and operational teams and supervise a VAT‑focused team member.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• 8‑12 years of tax compliance experience, preferably in an international or European environment.
• Strong knowledge of VAT and corporate tax; transfer pricing knowledge is a plus.
• Analytical, structured mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are an asset.
