Plant Manager – Heavy Industry

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a high‑investment heavy‑industry facility. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation across production, maintenance, supply chain, and QHSE functions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with production, maintenance, supply chain and QHSE managers to enhance efficiency and production flow.
• Control costs and ensure operational excellence so that output meets market demand.
• Coordinate with multiple sites to share best practices in automation, continuous improvement, health and safety.
• Promote innovation and change‑management mind‑set throughout the organization and cascade vision to all levels.
• Work closely with supply‑chain teams to align product delivery with channel objectives.
• Maintain constructive relationships with work councils and employee representatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of plant management experience in heavy industry or machinery.
• Master’s degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering.
• Proven ability to operate in complex environments and manage work‑council relationships.
• Fluency in French, Dutch and English.
