B1.1 Aircraft Technician – F16, F35 & MQ9B

About the role

Sabena Engineering, part of the Orizio Group, is seeking a certified B1.1 Aircraft Technician to join its military aircraft maintenance team in Charleroi. You will work on F16, F35 fighter jets and MQ9B unmanned aircraft, ensuring they remain air‑worthy and compliant with manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute scheduled maintenance programmes and modifications on F16, F35 and MQ9B aircraft.
• Diagnose, repair and replace hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel and mechanical components.
• Interpret and apply manufacturer documentation, blueprints, diagrams and technical manuals.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to meet safety and quality standards.
• Undergo a national security background check to obtain NATO clearance.

Required profile

• Valid PART‑66/BMAR‑66 licence (B1.1 category).
• Experience as an aircraft technician in civil or military environments.
• Proficient technical English for reading manufacturer documentation.
• Methodical, meticulous approach with a strong focus on compliance.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
