Waste Operations Receptionist

About the role

As a Waste Operations Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for all visitors, drivers and contractors entering the site. You will ensure that waste transports are received smoothly, that all required documentation is complete, and that safety and procedural standards are upheld.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct internal and external drivers, parcel services, contractors, technicians, emergency services and other visitors.
• Perform access control, register visitors and communicate site safety regulations.
• Verify completeness and compliance of waste transport documents and register data in the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics).
• Process administrative tasks related to waste reception both digitally and on paper.
• Investigate missing or incorrect information, request additional documentation and escalate issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Accurate, independent work style with a strong focus on quality, safety and procedures.
• Organised, service‑oriented professional who enjoys administrative work and interacting with diverse people.
• Excellent communication skills; able to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in Dutch, English and French (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
