Warehouse Supervisor (Small & Medium items)

About the role

JINGDONG Logistics (JD Logistics) is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations for small and medium items. The role focuses on strategic planning, system development, and process optimisation to align warehousing activities with the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define warehousing strategic objectives and operational regulations in line with corporate strategy.
• Design, implement and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for efficient warehouse operations.
• Coordinate overseas warehouse activities, single‑piece distribution and reverse logistics.
• Manage end‑to‑end processes including inbound/outbound logistics, inventory audits and order fulfillment.
• Analyse operational metrics to enhance storage efficiency and order processing.
• Lead team development, talent cultivation and organisational structuring.
• Develop local staffing strategies to mitigate employment risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build networks of local warehousing and logistics service providers to optimise resource utilisation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
• Experience in international logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in warehousing.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency in logistics management software.
