Venture Capital Intern

About the role

Entourage is looking for a VC Intern to join its fast-paced team in Ghent. The internship offers hands-on experience in the venture capital industry and a significant role in supporting investment activities. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Deal sourcing: research and analyse potential investments, including startups, market trends and industry dynamics
• Due diligence: help research and analyse financials, market potential, competition and key industry metrics
• Investment evaluation: help evaluate proposals, prepare investment memos and take part in investment decisions
• Portfolio support: work with portfolio companies on operational and strategic matters
• Market research: identify emerging trends and sectors of interest
• Networking: build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts

Required profile

• Proof of an entrepreneurial mindset or experience
• Master's degree in finance, business, economics or a related field
• Strong interest in venture capital, startups and technology
• Excellent analytical and research skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team, manage several projects and deadlines, and adapt quickly to a fast pace
