Trainer - Facility Operations

About the role

The Trainer – Facility Operations will design, deliver, and monitor training programs for warehouse staff, ensuring consistent adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety standards. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role supports continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and reinforcing best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate on‑the‑job training for new hires and existing employees.
• Administer and track operational training events, delivering one‑on‑one or group sessions.
• Ensure all staff are certified, recertified, and compliant with SOPs, OSHA, and company policies.
• Identify process bottlenecks and collaborate with management to resolve them.
• Review performance metrics, provide recommendations, and monitor quality standards for pick, pack, and ship functions.
• Conduct safety inspections, Gemba walks, and support audit compliance.
• Partner with the Quality department to document and improve warehouse processes.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; associate’s or college degree in business preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of warehouse experience.
• At least 2 years of operational or administrative experience.
• 1+ year of experience delivering training material.
• Familiarity with SOPs and safety regulations (OSHA).
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
