Traineeship Insurance Administrator

About the role

Join Zurich Insurance’s Underwriting Services (UWS) department in Zaventem for a one‑year traineeship that immerses you in the full lifecycle of insurance administration. You will rotate through three specialised sub‑teams – Domestic, International and European – gaining hands‑on experience in policy creation, financial processing and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Collect data and draft policies and endorsements.
• Process financial information and issue invoices.
• Collaborate with internal departments, customers and insurance brokers to deliver service.
• Coordinate international insurance programmes for large Belgian multinationals.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and present recommendations.

Required profile

• Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with excellent written and spoken English.
• Recent graduate (Bachelor or Master) with up to 2 years of work experience.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and comfortable working with numbers.
• Service‑oriented, proactive and a strong “can‑do” attitude.
