Trackside V&V Designer

About the role

Alstom is looking for a motivated Trackside V&V Designer to join its graduate programme. You will work on validation and verification activities for railway signalling and control systems, contributing to safer and smarter mobility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and execute test and integration activities for trackside platforms.
• Perform site‑track and interoperability tests following UNISIG standards.
• Support system engineering and safety‑assurance tasks.
• Validate ETCS Level 1/2 and CBT solutions, as well as interlocking systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with Alstom platform specifications.

Required profile

• Graduated with a Master’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific field.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical skills and prior experience in test & integration or system engineering.
• Knowledge of at least one Alstom platform and familiarity with railway signalling standards.
