Thermodynamic Engineer

About the role

VeroTech is looking for a Thermodynamic Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team. You will tackle complex technical challenges, develop analytical models, and support design decisions for compressors and related components across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations covering thermodynamic, fluid‑dynamic, mechanical, bearing and structural analyses.
• Develop and maintain numerical models that simulate compressor behavior for various gases and operating conditions.
• Conduct mechanical integrity assessments, including stress, strain and fatigue analyses of critical parts.
• Execute thermodynamic evaluations to determine system efficiency and performance.
• Carry out advanced bearing calculations and structural analyses to ensure reliability and safety.
• Provide expert advice on calculation methodologies for special‑gas applications.
• Calibrate and validate models using data‑driven approaches.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electromechanical, Energy, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for technology and innovation.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Interest in working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
