Technology Audit Manager (Senior)

About the role

As a (Senior) Manager Technology Audit you will join KPMG’s 200‑plus member Technology team, supporting external audit engagements for financial institutions. You will help clients in banking and insurance navigate IT risk, regulatory compliance and emerging technology challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Support external audit teams with technology audits covering financial statements, SOX 404, IT attestations and internal IT audits.
• Identify risks in banking and insurance processes, evaluate automated controls and assess general IT controls.
• Assist in Cyber Maturity Assessments and contribute to SOX 404 advisory services.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to deliver actionable process insights.
• Audit emerging technologies for top‑tier clients and perform risk‑control assessments of financial applications.
• Advise clients on IT use and management through Technology Advisory projects.
• Shape AI integration in projects, own data‑governance and ensure AI initiatives align with business goals and standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in internal or external IT audit.
• CISA certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of business processes (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, HR) and related IT risks.
• Proactive, organized team player with a professional, collaborative attitude.
• Fluency in English and Dutch or French.
