Technical Trainer

About the role

Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is seeking a Technical Trainer to join its Training Team. The role focuses on delivering practical, methodological training to Technical Performers (engine mechanics and inspectors) who work on the inspection, disassembly and re‑assembly of LEAP jet engines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on training on work instructions for engine inspection, dismantling and re‑assembly.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and technical procedures.
• Collaborate with team leaders, operations managers and HR to schedule and coordinate training sessions.
• Communicate critical issues to the operations department and suggest improvements to the training process.
• Assess and validate the skills of Technical Performers in consultation with supervisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in aviation or a related field.
• In‑depth knowledge of good aviation practices and aircraft engine maintenance principles.
• Experience with MRO (Maintenance, Overhaul & Repair) for turbojet engines.
• Strong educational and instructional abilities.
• Ability to organise work according to training schedules and respond to unexpected quality events.
