Technical Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Trainer to develop and deliver high-quality training programs for customers, partners and internal teams using industrial 3D metal printing systems. Based in Leuven, Belgium, you will join a small global training team and work closely with R&D, field service and technical support experts.

Key responsibilities

• Design, update and maintain training curricula, presentations, manuals and assessments for both online and classroom courses.
• Deliver technical trainings on-site and virtually, including hands‑on lab sessions and demonstrations of complex procedures.
• Administer certification exams, track participant progress and produce training reports.
• Collaborate with R&D and other departments to translate new product information into effective training material.
• Travel internationally (15‑25%) to provide on‑site training across Europe, Asia and other regions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives such as digitalisation, new training methods and process optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (preferably electromechanics) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in technical training, technical support or field service for complex machinery.
• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel 15‑25% internationally.
• Fluent English; Dutch or French a plus.
