Technical Diagnosis Expert – Advanced Vehicle Support

About the role

Toyota Motor Europe is looking for a Technical Diagnosis Expert to provide advanced vehicle diagnostic support across European markets. Based in Brussels, you will work within the Customer Quality division, helping resolve complex technical issues on both conventional and electric vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and repair support to National Marketing and Sales Companies for escalated vehicle/system diagnoses, primarily online with occasional on‑site visits.
• Guide engineers through complex diagnostics and software updates using a variety of diagnostic tools.
• Support the improvement of remedial and web‑based procedures documented in repair manuals.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy workshop environment.

Required profile

• Fluent in English; knowledge of French or another major European language is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the automotive sector.
• Strong independent problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe.

Required skills

• Proficiency with vehicle diagnostic tools.
• Experience performing software update procedures on vehicle systems.
• Familiarity with repair manual documentation and web‑based technical procedures.
• Knowledge of both conventional and electric vehicle systems.
