Technical Designer – Electrical Infrastructure (Brussels)

About the role

Join a leading Belgian player in the energy sector and contribute to the design and realisation of critical electrical infrastructure. As a Technical Designer you will work alongside skilled colleagues to help build a sustainable, green and reliable electricity transmission system for Belgium.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electric installations and systems for transmission projects ranging from 30 kV to 380 kV.
• Produce detailed CAD drawings for cables, overhead lines, underground connections and secondary systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction and operations teams to ensure designs meet technical and regulatory requirements.
• Support project documentation, review, and quality assurance activities.

Required profile

• Relevant technical qualification (e.g., electricity, electromechanics, automation or engineering).
• Experience in design activities within the power or utilities sector.
• Strong communication skills, team‑oriented mindset and customer focus.
• Attention to detail, accurate work habits and solid planning/organisational abilities.
• Motivation to develop expertise and grow professionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software, preferably AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with CAD software, preferably MicroStation.
