Technical Architect – Integration Services

About the role

As a Technical Architect within the Integration Services team, you will shape and evolve the integration landscape for the national railway operator. You will define the technical vision, governance and continuous improvement of integration platforms such as message brokers, event streaming and API management.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the target architecture for Integration Services and keep technology roadmaps up‑to‑date.
• Research, evaluate and recommend new integration technologies, driving adoption of event‑driven and API‑first designs.
• Support project teams in selecting and implementing integration solutions, collaborating with development, operations and security.
• Identify optimisation opportunities to reduce complexity, improve reusability and standardise components.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Architect with strong integration background.
• Proven ability to design scalable, resilient and maintainable integration solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑influence skills.
• Fluent in English and knowledge of Dutch or French.
