Team Leader – Inside Sales

About the role

As a Team Leader – Inside Sales, you will coach a team of nine Inside Sales Officers and collaborate closely with Business Development Officers. You will drive process improvements, increase efficiency and foster a customer‑focused mindset to prepare the organisation for future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, select and implement systems to measure workload and sales efficiency for Inside Sales operations.
• Reduce administrative burden through automation, allowing the team to focus on creating customer value.
• Define and maintain up‑to‑date KPIs that encourage the right behaviours and support efficiency gains.
• Guide the transition to a customer‑value‑driven approach, balancing human interaction with automated or self‑service solutions via the web portal.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, ensure fast, high‑quality responses and continuously improve the buying experience.
• Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and lead projects that boost team efficiency.
• Perform a limited share of Inside Sales and Business Development activities in your allocated region, including lead conversion, growth opportunity identification and promotion of Edmac parts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Results‑driven, pragmatic mindset with a strong commercial orientation, preferably in sales or customer support.
• Entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills and openness to different cultures.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and take ownership of initiatives.
• International outlook with a proactive and positive attitude.

Required skills

• Experience with sales performance measurement and KPI development.
• Knowledge of automation tools and process optimisation.
• Analytical skills for operational data analysis.
