System Engineer – Linux Infrastructure & Observability

About the role

The System Engineer will provide advanced operational support for our Linux‑based IT infrastructure, focusing on monitoring, observability, and reliability. You will ensure platform stability, performance, and availability through proactive detection and rapid incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day operational support for Linux servers and services.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve monitoring solutions (metrics, logs, alerts, dashboards).
• Analyze system health data to detect anomalies, perform root‑cause analysis, and apply long‑term corrective actions.
• Execute routine maintenance, apply system changes, and minimize service disruption.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain security, compliance, and end‑to‑end observability.
• Participate in R&D activities, evaluate new observability tools, and prototype solutions.
• Drive automation through scripting and Infrastructure‑as‑Code to expand monitoring coverage and reduce manual effort.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting Linux‑based production environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
• Interest in continuous improvement, automation, and emerging monitoring technologies.
