System Administrator - Linux

About the role

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with deep expertise in Linux environments to join our team supporting NATO’s on‑premises infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
• Manage Windows Server and Active Directory services.
• Develop and maintain Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripts for automation and troubleshooting.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking components including TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Utilize Red Hat Satellite, SELinux, and firewalld for system management and security.
• Operate virtualized environments using VMware, RHV/KVM, or Hyper‑V.
• Implement configuration management using Ansible or similar tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 7+ years of experience as a Systems/IT Administrator in mixed‑OS environments.
• RHCSA or RHCE certification (strongly preferred); Microsoft/Windows certification a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
