System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an IT System Administrator to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our IT environment. The role combines day‑to‑day system management, advanced technical support, and continuous infrastructure improvement within a growing professional organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the IT lead on infrastructure upgrades and improvements.
• Manage, maintain, and optimise servers, networks, and related systems.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for complex technical issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
• Monitor system performance and guarantee high availability.
• Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls and endpoint protection.
• Document configurations, procedures, and solutions.
• Participate in IT projects such as system migrations and audits.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and data‑protection standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, System Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar system administration role.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Structured, proactive, and solution‑oriented mindset.
