Supply Chain Specialist – Raw Material Planner (High‑Tech Manufacturing)

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist / Raw Material Planner to join a fast‑growing high‑tech manufacturing site in Tienen, Belgium. You will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials and components are available when needed, while keeping inventory levels optimized throughout the order‑to‑cash cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders, verify against quotations, and issue confirmations.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP and CRM systems for customers, suppliers, orders and shipments.
• Plan raw‑material and component requirements based on forecasts, demand and production schedules.
• Monitor inventory, request quotations, place purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
• Identify and mitigate potential shortages to avoid production interruptions.
• Handle supplier complaints, support production planning and contribute to S&OP.
• Coordinate transport, outgoing shipments and demo unit deliveries.
• Assist with customer invoicing and export licence management.
• Propose and implement supply‑chain process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in raw‑material planning, material or supply planning, operational purchasing or a similar supply‑chain role.
• Background in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP or MRP systems.
