Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist

About the role

Akkodis is seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist to support its pharmaceutical clients in Belgium. You will work on either a strategic procurement track or a supply chain planning track, depending on your background, to drive value, efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and select suppliers across engineering, production, packaging, construction and capital services.
• Lead negotiations, manage contracts and monitor supplier performance to reduce risk and cost.
• Develop and execute category strategies in partnership with global Category Strategy Managers.
• Plan and maintain optimal production schedules over 3‑24 months, aligning demand, capacity and resources.
• Facilitate S&OP processes, conduct capacity analyses and coordinate daily logistics, including transport, customs and freight forwarding.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP and other regulatory requirements throughout the supply chain.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain planning, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical skills for bid analysis, capacity planning and cost optimization.
