Supply Chain Planner

About the role

As a Supply Chain Planner at Umicore, you will act as the operational nerve centre for the Germanium value chain. You will own the Master Production Schedule, balancing demand, capacity, material availability and logistics to ensure high customer satisfaction and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive weekly alignment between demand, supply, production and logistics across multiple product lines.
• Own and continuously optimise the Master Production Schedule.
• Facilitate Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) meetings and follow‑up on critical actions.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks and bottlenecks before they affect operations.
• Develop KPI dashboards and provide data‑driven insights for decision‑making.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects to increase agility and performance.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Logistics and Management teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in planning, supply chain, operations, manufacturing or a comparable industrial environment.
• Strong analytical capabilities and confidence working with data and planning systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
