Supply Chain Operations Manager

About the role

As a Supply Chain Operations Manager at GXO Logistics in Zellik, you will lead a team of 90‑100 employees in a large‑scale cold‑chain facility operating at –22 °C. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, safety and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, multi‑customer environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive operational performance and safety culture using Lean methodologies.
• Manage, coach and develop teams across multiple shifts, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Represent GXO in union discussions and engage in social dialogue.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement new processes, start‑up activities and automation projects.
• Monitor KPI and customer metrics, taking decisive action when targets are at risk.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards and environmental responsibilities.
• Oversee scheduling, training, upskilling and talent development, building succession pipelines.
• Manage operational budgets, cost performance and drive efficiency gains.
• Handle peak periods and operational disruptions with resilience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably on complex, multi‑customer sites.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with a hands‑on mindset.
• Experience working in a cold‑chain environment (‑22 °C).
• Ability to conduct union and social dialogue and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English.
