Supply Chain Manager

About the role
AI-Blox is scaling its edge AI hardware business and needs a Supply Chain Manager to own and optimise the end‑to‑end supply chain for electronic and hardware components. You will ensure the right materials are available at the right time, quantity and quality to support rapid production growth.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full supply chain from sourcing to delivery for electronic and hardware components.
- Select, negotiate and develop long‑term supplier partnerships.
- Place and oversee purchase orders, maintaining accurate purchasing, stock and supplier data in the ERP.
- Run MRP processes to align material availability with production planning.
- Collaborate with Sales to translate demand forecasts into procurement decisions.
- Define inventory policies (safety stock, reorder points, min/max levels) to balance availability and working capital.
- Manage long‑lead‑time components through forward‑buying, buffers and standardisation with Engineering.
- Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and monitor total cost of ownership.
- Control inbound, outbound and intra‑company logistics, managing 3PLs, freight forwarders and customs compliance.
- Build supply‑chain dashboards and reporting for leadership visibility.
- Ensure quality compliance, structured documentation and robust internal processes.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement or purchasing within electronics or hardware.
- Master’s degree preferred; APICS CPIM, CSCP or equivalent a plus.
- Strong ERP experience with solid command of MRP and production‑driven purchasing.
- Proven track record in supplier management, negotiations and development.
- Experience in inventory optimisation, demand planning and logistics management (inbound, outbound, 3PL).
- Familiarity with long‑lead‑time procurement, supply‑risk mitigation and cost reduction.
- Good understanding of quality principles, compliance and documentation standards.
- Analytical, structured and detail‑oriented decision‑maker.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, scaling tech startup and fluent in English.
