Supply Chain Manager – Fixed-Term (3 months)

About the role

Westfalia Fruit is seeking a Supply Chain Manager on a three‑month fixed‑term contract to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations for its Convenience Europe Market Unit. Based in Wingene, Belgium, you will ensure smooth product flow from sourcing to delivery while supporting the company’s reputation as a leading avocado and fresh‑produce supplier.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic supply chain leadership across the European market unit.
• Oversee demand and supply planning, including S&OP and detailed scheduling.
• Manage logistics, warehouse operations, and order fulfilment.
• Lead customer service functions to maintain high service levels.
• Develop and coach cross‑functional supply chain teams.
• Monitor financial performance, cost efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with the global convenience supply chain team on systems, processes, and KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Significant progressive supply chain experience with leadership responsibility.
• Proven success managing cross‑functional teams in demand planning, logistics and customer service.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and global supply chain processes.
• Deep understanding of inventory management, logistics and order fulfilment.
• Strong analytical ability to use supply chain data for decision‑making.
• Experience in FMCG, fresh produce or perishable goods is highly desirable.
