Study Responsible Physician – Neuroscience (Pediatric Studies)

About the role

The Study Responsible Physician (SRP) will provide medical leadership for pediatric neuroscience clinical studies within Johnson & Johnson’s Neuroscience therapeutic area. Based in Beerse, Belgium, the SRP works closely with the Clinical Lead and cross‑functional teams to drive study design, execution, and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the medical design and execution of pediatric clinical studies in neuroscience.
• Contribute to the overall clinical development plan with a focus on pediatric strategy.
• Develop and review pediatric trial protocols, investigator training materials, and clinical study reports.
• Provide medical oversight of patient safety, including review of adverse events, medical histories, and protocol deviations.
• Engage regularly with study sites to ensure compliance and data quality.
• Support the preparation of regulatory submission documents.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD) with experience in clinical research.
• Demonstrated expertise in pediatric studies, preferably within neuroscience.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design, execution, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with investigators.
