Spanish teacher - Enseignant.e d'espagnol

About the role

European School Brussels I is looking for a part‑time Spanish teacher for the secondary cycle (ages 11‑18). The position covers 8‑12 teaching periods per week and is offered on a fixed‑term basis starting 1 September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Spanish (L2‑3‑4) lessons to mixed‑ability classes.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Incorporate new technologies as teaching tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school life.

Required profile

• Command of Spanish equivalent to an educated native speaker.
• Teaching diploma for Spanish recognised by the Ministry of Education (subject to inspector validation).
• Recent experience teaching Spanish at secondary level.
• Proven record of excellent teaching practices and teamwork.
• High professionalism and attention to student wellbeing.
• Willingness to engage in the broader life of the secondary school.
