Software Engineer – Rail Transport

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our rail transport team, developing innovative software solutions for future mobility. You will work closely with domain experts to design and implement high‑quality software and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software specifications and architectures based on rail expert requirements.
• Define and manage technical specifications and subsystem requirements.
• Improve development processes, methods, and tools.
• Support integration, validation and implementation activities.
• Contribute to innovative software projects for future transportation.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French, both oral and written.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (software, electronics, industrial, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years of experience with C++ development on Linux.
• Project management experience is a strong asset.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem‑solving and strategic thinking.
• Highly organized, autonomous and able to ramp up quickly.

Required skills

• C++ programming.
• Linux development environment.
• Version control systems (Git or GitLab).
• Reading technical graphs, SI units and kinematics.
