Software Engineer – Industrial Automation

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our innovative engineering team that creates cutting‑edge automated production equipment. You will work on software that drives advanced manufacturing solutions and collaborate with multidisciplinary experts.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software for automated machines and production lines.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Support machine installation, commissioning, and performance optimisation at customer sites when required.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives while upholding quality, safety, and security standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Automation or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming skills in C#.NET, WPF, and XAML.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio.
• Interest in industrial automation, machine vision, robotics, or motion control.
• Proactive mindset with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in Dutch and good command of English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
