Software Engineer – Cloud & SaaS Development

About the role

Guardis is looking for passionate Software Engineers to help launch a new stealth‑mode project focused on metering, orchestration and event processing. You will join a small, fast‑moving team that builds cloud‑native SaaS platforms and contributes to a prototype product release.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in architecture and design discussions, offering ideas and feedback.
• Write clean, object‑oriented code in Java, Python and JavaScript.
• Perform QA testing, adopt test‑driven development and continuously improve product quality.
• Support on‑site deployments and resolve client issues quickly.
• Bring fresh perspectives to development processes and tooling.

Required profile

• Strong object‑oriented programming skills, especially in Java, Python and JavaScript.
• Comfortable with modern development tools such as Git, Maven and Eclipse.
• Experience working in agile environments (user stories, TDD, pair‑programming).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud and Linux environments (AWS, OpenStack, Docker, virtualization).
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
