Software Developer .NET

About the role

VeroTech is looking for a .NET Software Developer to join its innovative platform team building the next generation of food‑sorting machines. You will work with a modular architecture based on .NET technologies, contribute to embedded Linux applications and help strengthen the cybersecurity of industrial equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain .NET software using F# and C# for advanced sorting technologies.
• Configure and optimise Linux environments for embedded applications.
• Implement containerisation and deployment strategies for edge devices.
• Enhance the cybersecurity resilience of sorting machines.
• Participate in refinement and design sessions addressing business and security needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary R&D teams to integrate peripherals such as PLCs and edge devices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in software engineering, industrial engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience with .NET; willingness to learn or already know F#.
• Proficiency in Linux OS configuration for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with containerisation, Domain‑Driven Design and gRPC security implementation.
